Our Post Racing Program
Horses that retire from racing careers are incredibly versatile, adaptable and capable. Each horse is carefully evaluated to determine a potential "best fit" when it comes to a future career. These careers range widely, from western speed events like barrel racing to English riding disciplines like hunter/jumper, pleasure horses or as broodmares.
Our top priority is finding families that understand a particular horse's personality and are seeking to a provide long term, permanent, safe, happy homes.

What owners are saying about their experiences buying an off-the-track Quarter Horse
"All the horses I have had in my life have helped me grow as a rider, but Bee has without doubt been my greatest personal challenge! When I saw him, there was an immediate connection, we learned to understand each other in our own way and to create a bond of enormous trust! It’s with hard work and patience that we get our best results and I sincerely could not have found a better partner than him". - Kellyann |
"Teller is the fastest learning horse I've ever ridden! You show him something once or twice, let it sink in, and next ride he basically has mastered it. He has such strong work ethics, it's very pleasant to work with him. On trails, outdoor arenas, and competitions, he never, EVER spooked...not even once." - Dominique |
"When I bought Cheerios, my goal was not was not to compete. I wanted to do a bit of gymkhana, extreme cowboy, medieval and finally get my eleven year old niece to ride. The transition from "race horse" to "all around horse" was steady and sure. Cheerios learns new concepts quickly and most importantly, I feel safe. In just a few months, we were able to do two medieval workouts, we are starting gymkhana games, and my niece can ride him, and spend time with him without me worrying. -Maryline |
"I had heard "track horses" were difficult to train, anxious, and had health problems. I quickly learned that none of those things were true. The biggest challenge with Charlie was keeping up with how quickly he was learning new skills and pushing myself to keep pace! I am convinced his experience at the track taught him how to handle stressful situations, learn new concepts and perform. After only 7 months of training, he was competitive at barrel racing competitions and even won some checks." - Toby |
